About

Hi from sunny Switzerland ! I love mountains, hiking, running and skiing. I’m also a gear and data geek. That shows up in how I train: structured, zone-based, data-driven, and quietly relentless about closing feedback loops rather than guessing.

This blog is where that instinct meets my other one — a fascination with data and the tools to actually use it. I track sleep, training load, and nutrition obsessively, and I’ve spent more hours than I’d like to admit fighting with clunky exports just to get my own numbers into a spreadsheet. So this space is partly a training log, partly a running commentary on the gear and workflows I use to make sense of it all — device switches, what worked and what didn’t. When I’m not running or carving turns, I’m probably being cross-examined by my dog, Lola, who has strong opinions about when it’s time to go outside.
